Named after Ibn Al Battuta, a Berber scholar of the 13th century who is widely regarded as one of the greatest travellers of all time, the man’s djellaba is based on a Kashmiri pheran. Loose fitting, with deep pockets and short enough to stride out in style, this is the perfect garment for covering ground on the hillside, keeping warm in the fields at a festival at dawn or relaxing by the fireside at home.
Deep pocketed, loose fitting tweed robe – lined in front and back panels, shoulders and sleeves with Dutch wax cotton batik. Hand-sewn leather trim on cuffs and blanket stitch in contrasting or tonal thread around the neckline and collar.
